Naomi Cameron
Naomi Cameron is a Provisional Psychologist and Master of Psychology (Forensic) candidate at the University of New South Wales. Her research interests focus on child psychopathology. In particular, she is interested in the risk factors associated with future juvenile offending and the developmental trajectory of severe antisocial behaviours, such as psychopathy.
Naomi graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) with First Class Honours from the Australian National University in 2014. Her honours research examined Oppositional Defiant Disorder and the role of Callous-Unemotional traits on cognitive and affective empathy in pre-school aged children. Naomi’s masters research will investigate whether Callous-Unemotional traits moderate treatment outcomes in children receiving Parent-Child Interaction Therapy in a real-world setting, and will also investigate the influence of parental warmth.
