Yu Teng Lee

Clinical Psychology Registrar / Psychologist

Yu Teng Lee is a registered psychologist with a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Sydney. She is also a clinical psychology registrar undergoing training towards endorsement as a clinical psychologist. She completed her Masters research on parent-child interaction across a parenting intervention for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and externalising behaviour difficulties. She was awarded the A H Martin Scholarship for Clinical Psychology for her performance in the first year of her Masters.  

Yu Teng completed a Bachelor of Psychology with First Class Honours at the National University of Singapore. She was also enrolled in the University Scholars Programme, where she was awarded the Sung Kah Kay Memorial Prize for academic excellence and scholarship. Yu Teng’s Honours research examined the relationship between ASD symptomatology and anxiety in a large pooled international database of children and adolescents with ASD.  

Yu Teng has clinical experience working with children at the University of Sydney Psychology Clinic, including implementing evidence-based interventions for children presenting with externalising behaviours. She also has extensive volunteer experience working with children with neurodevelopmental disorders. Her goals in working with children and families is to foster a positive parent-child relationship and enhancing shared mutual enjoyment and warmth between parents and children.
